Leviathan 0 #1 Posted January 1, 2007 Wanted to share this with you guys, and especially you Dark. Anyone else find that you get tk'ed about 1/3 more than everyone else by your team as a warrior? Usually by mages shooting fireballs at you and your current target/ archers shooting arrows and hitting you while your fighting/ other warriors on your team running in, swinging and hitting you/ assassins on your team trying to backstab your target and hitting you? Screenshot below of an example, i was tk'ed 14 times which is paticularly annoying as it would have been a fairly impressive round without the TK's. Notice the way no one on my team had positive kills, thats not because they wernt killing, but because they were getting so many TK's (also there were more players in the server but a lot of them left after getting warrior owned ) Blubb in paticular, was just firing fireblasts directly into the center of the enemy, usually with me in there hacking the enemy up, i had to rely on last stand a lot to avoid burning to death because of him. Warriors must have a bullseye painted on their back or something, your own team can never resist the urge to kill you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Leviathan 0 #3 Posted January 1, 2007 I can understand it if you can't rely on your team to make the kills, but its the mindless firing of the newbies with no regard for the fact that you will make many more kills than they will that puzzles me Its one of the reasons i'm hoping to join you guys =) i'm looking forward to having some real team tactics some day in the near future Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dark Killer 0 #4 Posted January 1, 2007 at first: very nice score... 14 tks you say...wow makes me think about how many kills you could have done without them ^^ Anyone else find that you get tk'ed about 1/3 more than everyone else by your team as a warrior? yes i noticed that... and when you slay them they start flaming and tell you that you shouldn't punishe because they killed the enemy o0 but well i think the big problem there is: some poeple don't rely on their team and some simply don't care as long as their name is on top of the scoreboard (these are normally the same guys that change team or leave the server when their time is loosing one map) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Leviathan 0 #5 Posted January 1, 2007 Good points Dark, those guys that want to be top also usually have as many deaths as kills. I always slay unless i know it was a geniune accident and not just a killsteal attempt, slaying seems to work as the person responsible usually stays away from you =). That jpegs from a public serv so i wouldnt say the score is that nice, its sort of like whackanewbie. Icychocobo 0 #7 Posted June 9, 2007 *claps* Astonishing. But i have to admit, i have done a few TK's myself. i generally hit my target, but on occasion i'll hit the warrior. (that backlash effect of the Fire Arrows gets a bit unperdictable.) But i do what i can. If i every play alongside you Lee, i'll be sure to use Force Arrows so that i don't kill ya on accident.
