is there a solution playing LAN with difference windows??my brother using windows 7 and i using windows 8..when i created the game,my brother cant join it..so,please help

you an your brother download program make room join to room and playa game of course you have to the same wersion of game / if you have mod's also must be the same exactly te same

yes when computers are in the same group

and are connected together and must share files

 

I am not sure but also should be possible from one router

 

internet ,same group and shared files

to conect two computers you need crossover cable 

 

this is how it look  RJ45 crossover cable

 

 

and then you need  shere files and thesame group

If you are using one router to connect with internet you should be able to see each other in lan game or use direct ip method
