PS: I would also suggest that the 60 minute timer be a set time limit as opposed to when the time is up next cap wins. I think it should be 60 minutes flat, finished or not finished. Dave 4 #7 Posted January 27, 2008 With those choices, I vote Dustbowl and 2fort. I think we need to have both CTF and CP (Dustbowl being my favorite CP, and Well sucking as CTF). I guess I would be happy with a full stock rotation, but I think I prefer having a one or two map server. I'd rather join and be going to a map I know I'm into, rather than end up going through two or three hours of maps I don't want to play before so. That being said, if there is another server in the future, I think that would be great for a stock server. If things are going slowly on one, going through a rotation of other maps can sometimes help keep down NERD RAEG. On a more seriouse note, I noticed that ever since we added Well, we had alot more troube recruiting into the guild and less people play on the wierd hours that I am available to log on, the server used to fill up at 10am now it fills up at 11:30ish and the server used to die out at 3am now it's dying out at 12:30ish am... But yes... with a rotation it might happen. People usually leave when the map ends (before they even know what the next map is). When the map changed once every 500 minutes it wasn't much of a problem. Anyways once more people get used to the server playing all maps it should go back to what it was before (Mostly). The biggest audience of people love 2FORT could play it night and day and come for it. How about this suggestion, not 2 maps, not 7 but 4 of the best maps. 2FORT Dustbowl Hydro Granary I love all of these and could stand playing them a shitload, google them for images if you forgot 1 or 2 of these but I think all 4 of these are fucking great. And this admin plugin doesn't let me STOP a fucking map vote. It was fine playing that map the first 120minutes but I did want some normal 2fort or dustbowl. But not it got voted again for the 3rd time! ARGH Anyways the mapcycle now has all the maps. We will see which are the most played and which are the least played as time comes and see which need removing (if any). Now I just had the best experience of dustbowl being the next map yet the admin plugging deciding everyone should vote for tc_hydro. Well I manually changed it to dustbowl! It has bugs, crashes, some commands don't work, ads are barely seen because they are the same color as chat. The list goes on. Did I say crashes? Atleast on Windows servers. So yes, worst one.
