Banned For No Reason...

Ok, so let me start off saying I love playing on this server. My favorite maps are goldrush/dustbowl. I just got the game almost a week ago, and I have been playing heavily on your server. Well just about 5 mins ago, I had the 2nd or 3rd highest score on the server, and I happened to be a spy. I was focusing on taking out the opposing teams sentries, so most of my score was from killing engineers. Obviously, some one got pissed and threw up a vote ban against me for no reason (Im thinking it was this Engineer...). The opposing team pretty much just voted for banning me, while many on my team didnt because they knew I hadnt done anything wrong. I would love to keep playing on this server, only im banned. What are the chances of getting me "Un-banned"?

That does sound like a dumb ban to me, spy stabbing engies is part of the game.

Not sure on the unban though, that's mana's department.

well we definitely need to raise the %votes needed to ban, b/c soooo many ban votes are getting started

we should make voteban a donator only feature, give votekick to the public

I would like it if votebans worked differently... Right now they can be started by one person. I have posted on the forums of Beetlesmod and am awaiting response to see if he will do something about it.

Votebans are temporary though. So it will expire.
