Doxt 1 #4 Posted May 23, 2008 Here it is! Download the hldsupdatetool from http://storefront.steampowered.com/downloa...supdatetool.exe and install it. After that go to your Steam Account directory and make a folder under Half Life 2 Episode Two names "dodsbeta". Then run the updatetoool with the following -command update -game dodsbeta -dir "X:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Your_account_name/half-life 2 episode two\dodsbeta" (You will have to take the dodsbeta folder and paste it inside the EP2 directory).This will download all the files that you need to your EP2 DODSbeta folder. When the updatetool is done. Edit Episode 2's Launch Parameters (in your game list) to include the following -game dodsbeta. Start Episode Two and join a server! I do like DoD:S a lot though, second favorite game to TF2 , so this update may be interesting... although I won't be able to take full advantage of it just yet...
