Gah, Really Fucking Annoying

I try and join this server, but then get kicked or disconnected because of "reserved slot". It's why I never play on it, happens almost every time.

That means you join the server when it's full. You first load the game then "get in line"? Correct?

Because if you "wait in line" in steam you will lose your place to someone who has the game loaded already and is waiting ready to connect in 1 second... as opposed to Steam Pre-caching Files, Checking versions, Starting Game, loading menu, and then finally connecting...

Doesn't matter, you have to use the in game "wait in line" feature or it can happen on any of our other servers.

All other servers share the exact same setup, your timing just sucks on this one apparently.

I mean, it happens if I use steam's wait in line feature, or the in-game one. It says 32/33 (one slot free) and then I try and go in, and I get disconnected immediently. Sometimes I'm already loaded and about to select what team I'm going on, and I get kicked fro reserved slot...

No then it's not a reserved slot issue... it's just using that as a disconnect message for you. CURRENTLY people do not get kicked when they are in-game. They only get kicked if they try to join using a reserved slot when the server is at 33/33.

I'll look at the logs... see what it says there.
