Mmhhmmmmm, what about the 10 kabuki/flash & 10 dragonwarrior/Firebalde with 3 geisha strategy I made up. It works great. First I send the kabuki in and stun their army, meanwhile my warriors go around burning the whole town down. VERY EFFECTIVE!

Why thank you...I invented it one and half year ago. It is very effective against lotus I say. Since Dragonwarriors own them.

there are alot of idiots who build whole armies of samurai. it is pure stupidity to build more than 4 samuai in an attack army.

u could most probably win the game just with archers: the best 1st tier unit and in my opinion the best best ranged unit in the game. no other units has armour strength tht protects against the archer arrows

I personally dont like sams. I mean, I like them, but not to use them. I get a few for yang and dragon but otherwise i just go archer/kabuki/healer. Kabuki's are great! Stardust and flash? AMAZING!

Up to 5-8 Samurai are good too. Don't forget 4 of them will be waiting in a monument to destroy you!

Yes, but if you abuse it then I won't agree.

5 sumos, with indirect and about 5 samurai for protection is a very good combo, assuming you have atleast 3 geisha.

I experiment with big armies of 1 unit. Armies of 1 unit suck unless they are all Bersekers or Warlocks, haven't tried it with Ronin. Anyways if you make an army of 40 Samurais you will destroy 1 village no doubt, but when you go to the 2nd you'll have like 4 left, max! Samurai are just a tad to weak to build a whole army out of. Now Warlocks Oh yah, powerful range fighters. It doesn't matter if they are assaulted in a melee combat or range they'll win. If its melee lets say a couple of samurai/kabuki/archers attack you. Well the melee combat will always attack the middle of the army so the Warlocks I got on both sides will attack and crush them not counting the ones being attacked and the ones behind them. Archers are easy pickins, very weak against such a powerful warrior. Well it also counts on how many warlocks you got. But with more then 6 you can defeat a rush easily, even with 4 maybe. Bersekers are very powerful too. With shale armor of course. They can slaughter a warlock army with their slashing no doubt. They are very affective against structures too. No doubt a great choice if you got time.

The archer tactic with dragon certainly is effetive. Except if you get hit by mass melee from two sides. When the archer cant fall back to escape melee combat, they die awfully fast. Lotus do this particularly well, as they can draw up many good melee units quite fast, and dark canopy can hold for long enough to get thos melee in. I have seen many an intermediate player fall to this.

I have also found that musketeers with snipe scope are very effective against mass archers, purely because the musks have a longer range, and the archers arent as well armoured as musketeers. Whenever i get hit by mass archers, I break out the musks and geisha. Beat the archers at their own game. Mind you, I'm pretty sure this tactic could fail, I've had a few touch-and-go battles doing this.

Thats why mass archers is silly. Well, its not silly. But its smart to have geisha on horses and kabuki with both stardust and flash powder to tank a bit.

well see what would help with that for like distraction is a samurai with dragon skin.. you get maybe 4 or 6 of those and you send archers from a completly diffrent way so they will be attacking those sams and you will be owning up the snipes with the archers without them noticing

Yeah taht would work. Sams with drag skin are shiny little decoys. And also, The musk user would prolly turn snipes off to get the sams with more effect, so a brief time the archers would take less damage
