if you want to open a forum on arguing just make one somewheres else in the forum that has arguing in the topic, argueing doesn't fit the topic so, go somewhere else in the forum so no one will get offended by your wars, then you guys can have your wars by yourself and if no one wants to look at them then they don't have to, this topic should be pretty much dragon strategies, yes it will go off topic sometimes but thats what happens but this war has been going on for pages.

Ok, if you get offended by the flamewars, then you are either a little baby, or very feminine.

This is internet everybody, anything that goes on around here won't happen to you in reality; if you are offended by a flamewar then leave, don't go to the thread.

yea whirl owns snipers anyday, it's also a good idea to have a couple flash powders too with your spears to blind the snipes

Not really, whirl would die if a band of 10 or more snipers came.

3292[/snapback]

well most people wouldn't go head long into a bunch of snipers with whirl because spears are too weak

some ways to to make your whirls kill their snipes is maybe use a couple sams with dragon skin to distract them or ID them a bit to make them runaway and then run in with whirl and finish them off

Kegs with ID owns musketeers. If musketeers going for kegs , use flash powder (star dust), then few whirling spears and id in same time. It kill most of them.

Arah also can hunt down snipes.

Whoa, hyper kid. You should cut back on the caffeine. Mass Samurais are easy to beat because of their weaknesses to magic, explosive. If using Warlocks, Witches, Unclean, Dryads, Druidness, Kegs, and even the lowly 1st tier units like Chemists, Muskets, Geishas with Fire Shield could damage Sams a lot too. It is more ugly when put Otomo, Garrin, and Tao in the same place with Samurai. Otomo and Garrin weak against explosive, and Tao weaks against magic. The enemies could just concentrated on magic and explosive usings units and could decimate your entire samurais force. Seppuku wouldn't be effective since most explosives using units are range, so is some magical ones.

Indeed, what I suggest is bringing along some archers upgraded with Zen Accuracy and Arrow Craftmanship. Then, they could go toe-to-toe with any magic users and possibly mae the enemy break formation and scatter, as there are some holes in this game's AI. Another thing would be to mix in some good old-fashioned Dragon Warriors. They tend to last a bit longer than samurai and do some nice damage. Give them Fire Blade and you've got some powerful warriors.

Never mass samurai, because that alone dooms your forces. Their seppuku ability, however, makes them good for some skirmishers. Send a few to their doom, and they can do some decent damage before swooping in with your main force and wiping the enemy out.

DW with Fire Blade weakens a lot, because many units resist to fire. But good for buildings though.
