Seeing how Valve is too stupid to fix this in time... the achievements have been out for a while and all it needs is a limit I will simply remove the public achievement messages and only the player himself will be able to see if an achievement has been unlocked. Hmm. I see. I am a bit confused though, how is the ID bad? I'm pretty sure it's the same as in the screenshot (last picture). It did seem a bit... hmm... Mana 3,867 #7 Posted November 1, 2008 Well I found a way to block it. I'll probably put it on all the servers later today, it's already on some. Then I will make a different plugin to simply disallow 2 "achievement_earned" achievement_events that are the same and autoban on the spot. I'll post that one publically later on. I am really really surprised as to how Valve haven't added a limit themselves... oh well, we're used to fixing Valve's mistakes using plugins by now anyway :/. Since attacking communities is totally going to solve the problem faster than going directly to VALVe. You are attacking the farmer for selling to the corporate when there is no other means. Anyway.
