M3gatr0m 0 #1 Posted December 29, 2008 Hi. It is possible to play some maps of the CAL League? I leave the url here http://www.caleague.com/?page=files Maybe 2 o 3 of the maps of the list.... would be nice..
James Tyrgglidaar Quall 69 0 #2 Posted December 30, 2008 Maybe it's just me, but that link didn't really work. Said there were no files or something. Anyway, I didn't know CAL had different maps. Are they the orange ones? Also, this server is the STOCKMAP server. One of the few left.

Maps that come with the game. So no Custom Maps on this server.
M3gatr0m 0 #4 Posted January 4, 2009 the link is broken. But follow this step: 1- go to http://www.caleague.com/ 2- choose division = days of defeat source 3- Select FILES 4- now you can see the maps that play in the tourmanent of the caleague. Please we want to play new maps.. go mana say yes..................
Crono 0 #5 Posted March 5, 2009 since i play cal competively. Cal does play different maps. Main maps i would say since server is a stockmap server would be harrington/lennon are the most popular rails isn't bad also. But the rest are meh /=
Plasma Waffle 0 #6 Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) Hahaha Crono it's hard to play CAL non-competitively as it's a competitive league Yes to get the maps you have to select what division of CAL you want in the top right corner, but these maps are not stock maps, so will not be included on the "Stock Map" server Edited March 5, 2009 by Plasma Waffle
Crono 0 #7 Posted March 5, 2009 um you'd be surprised =p. But only good maps are lennon and harrington imo.
Reinhardt 2 #8 Posted March 29, 2009 Maybe we outta email Valve, and ask the DoD:S team to come up with some new maps? Maybe we could send in some basic sketches, or even get a mapper to submit one they made to Valve, much like the TF2 updates. [i watched cp_egypt get made over at facepunchstudios.] It's a shame DoD:S doesn't get as much attention.
CrazyMonkey 0 #9 Posted May 28, 2009 howdy, ok i know this server is Stock Maps only but may i make a suggestion? have 1 night a week were yall load some cool Custom maps into the cycle? although the stock maps yall have are fun and rarely get tiresome, but would be a nice change of pace to toss a custom one in just for 1 day out of the week. with that said, im a struggling map maker myself, well i can make maps just fine, just lack the ability to do like 3 or 4 things. (buttons, 3d sky boxes....and im sure there's 2 others but i cant think of what they are at the moment) so if there are anyone who knows Hammer editor really well. i got a AWSOME Alamo map that just lacks a skybox and a few buttons. help me out please. not back to the custom maps on the server, its just a suggestion. the server is fun as it is, the people are nice. been playing on it for a wile now and so far no complaints..well at lease from me Stay CRAZY! Melissia 7 #10 Posted May 29, 2009 If custom maps were put into the cycle then the server isn't stock maps. That's like people asking Mana to load up 2fort on the 24/7 Dustbowl server-- go to a different server if you want to play custom maps.
