Oblivion Players?

Just curious to know if there are any other people here that still play Oblivion or at least like it.

And RPG games too.

I've been playing Oblivion alot again, and its amazing on the PC with all the graphics mods and such.

I played and beat oblivion. Played all of the Elder Scroll series since Daggerfall. Haven't been able to get into them again for awhile

Whats Daggerfall like?

Is it just as opened ended and first person?

Oh yeah. To a point it's even more open ended. I was quite younger when I played and definitely didn't understand the game as well, but from what I remember the Daggerfall world was much bigger than Oblivion, but it was not as diverse. The dungeons randomly generate (besides a few main dungeons) using a couple different templates, so after awhile they all become familiar and quests, which are also not too diverse, become very easy.

If you can get over the graphics, sound, and everything else that has improved with technology, Daggerfall is probably better than Morrowwind, but still not quite as good as Oblivion, only because of the redundancy of the quests and dungeons. I'd love for them to remake Daggerfall using the Oblivion engine. Daggerfall has well over 1000 (also randomly generated) locations, and you can pretty much do everything you can do in Oblivion, just not as indepth.

TL,DR: Oblivion>Daggerfall>Morrowwind, but Daggerfall is worth a play.

And sadly I have to uninstall Oblivion for like the fifth time, because it wont stop crashing whenever I enter doors. >.<

Daggerfall didnt ever have crashes like that, good ole 2D engines.

Yeah. It was heralded as such an amazingly awesome adventure game, but I did everything (all quests, all bobbleheads, all locations, all unique weapons/armor) in 45 hours, and the ending absolutely blows.

An another note, I hit a car today and got no damage.

My 61 beetle snagged his fender, and he went driving away with his fender dangling.

Apparently, only my bumper is bent.

But I went into shock from the small collision, and the guy I hit sped off, not coming back.

So I experienced my first hit and run today.

And I dont feel good.
