Psychostats Logging Unplayed Game Sessions

I've had this happen in the past; I'll look at the 3 Player Game Sessions section and notice it logging small games, anywhere from five to ten minutes, with a horrid K:D ratio, that I know I didn't play. I'm always wary of my K:D and if I had played a map that small failing that hard, I would have remembered. The weird thing is, it will sometimes show that I played on a map I know I haven't touched in ages. As a recent example, I have only been in one Lotus map today, Goldrush #2, which it recorded correctly. But it also shows me playing nine minutes on Fastlane today, 4K 8D. I have not played Fastlane, Lotus servers or not, for at least a week, and even if it was a name glitch, I would remember having 4 kills and 8 deaths in 9 minutes.

This has happened before, and I've always been curious about it, but I would let it go. But this time, it's caused my skill level to drop considerably, and my rank to drop from 20 to 33. It's not a matter of the natural drop with idleness, it happened in the same few hours I saw my rank go from 21 to 20 to 19. The only people who know my Steam info wouldn't use it without asking me, nor would any of them at this point have a reason to do so. Also, I would know, because I've stayed logged in to Steam for quite a while now.

Sessions aren't accurate. A map change can cause a new session and apparently it does not always know which map the server is actually on which leads to incorrect maps being named. But it was part of the logs made by the game server then, there's no way around that. You are the only one with that steam id.

It just probably finished processing stats on a server running fastlane and went over to resume processing Goldrush #2 from the place it left off.
