Spartan_0214 18 #3 Posted June 9, 2009 First, there are no admins yet. Mana's pretty much the only one that runs the servers, with a bit of help from Nket. Second, I think the UK servers are on the Linux-based systems, which Valve apparently has been having problems fixing. The best Lotus can do is reset the servers, and only Mana can do that. If Mana's on, go ahead and let him know, and he'll reset the servers when he can. Otherwise, the only thing I can recommend is power-cycling your router (unplug its power for thirty seconds then plug it back in, in case you didn't know that) and reconnecting. r33tm4n 0 #4 Posted June 9, 2009 tnx for info but its only on lotus servers :s when i play other servers or other games i dont lag at all :s its only when i connect to them ... and other ppl who are playing with me aren't lagging ... mayby it has somethign to do with my console settings ? mitpatterson 3 #5 Posted June 9, 2009 mabey its just the distance from where your at, to where ever the lotus servers are located....since others aren't lagging but still try what spartan said. also never hurts to power-cycle your cable or dsl modem too. and restart your computer. After a certain amount of up time the server starts lagging and needs to be restarted. This isn't a problem on Windows SRCDS because it crashes before any good uptime can be achieved. Next time I work on the server plugins I'll add something to auto restart the servers in certain cases. First, there are no admins yet.
