Br In Widescreen?

Hi, I just want to replay this game so badly but changing the resolution inside the .ini file to 1680*1050 doesn't work. Odd, since I remember I could do this 3 years ago.

I have a nVidia 8600 gt.

Any help apreciated

I have never been able to get it to work with any higher than 1280 x 1024 in the .ini file. I guess the game is just coded that way.
