I was thinking, would it be possible for valve to make Left 4 Dead so that you could play both 1 and 2 without quitting out of one and opening the other? Also wondering this about Half Life 2. It could have happened if they just reloaded the AI/zombies/uncommon infected/special infected/characters/weapons every time you switched from L4D to L4D2 but then, since you're reloading the whole game (less hl2.exe) are you really playing the same game?
