Shiny Charizard 451 #1 Posted February 12, 2010 Got myself a PS3, and when tax time comes I'm paying tuition and getting some games. I need people to play those games with. That is where you reading this come in. My name is JohhnyDamage and I'm looking for BFFs. ----------------------------------------------------------------- If you have a PSN or XBL account leave your name here and lets get some console gaming going on. Graedus 9 #8 Posted February 14, 2010 PSN: Teslae The only reason I got a PS3 was for Metal Gear Solid 4. Otherwise, there hasn't been that much. Fat Princess is ok. Everything else I've played has been multiplatform (Assassin's Creed 1 sucked, 2 was slightly better. Valkyria Chronciles and GTA4 were ok. Madden's framerate is kind of lame though; why should menus be laggy?)
The Computer Geek 6 #9 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) True the PS3 doesn't have the extensive library the 360 does. However there are a few titles I can recommend: Demon's Souls: Hardest Action/RPG I've ever played. MAG: First person shooter with a little bit of a MMOPRG feel with the skill system. Also it doesn't have the MW2 easy mode feel. The 3 Ratchet and Clank games. God of War III: I know it not out yet but I've had my pre-order in Play N Trade for over a year. And before anyone says anything. I own a 360 and Wii too. Edited February 14, 2010 by The Computer Geek

I think though fat princess is a fun game when you are bored. Also I have an xbox and its The Killer 3K

I'm from the generation where we didn't have that BS. And that's the reason you still suck in fighting games against me.
Shiny Charizard 451 #12 Posted February 15, 2010 Oh you guys, had to make sure I wasn't on /v/. I did have a 360 but the PS3 is better, no red rings so far. A new record.
Oww My Nose 19 #13 Posted February 15, 2010 I've never had a problem with my 360. As long as you don't have it in a confined area where the hot air can build up and cause overheating then you have nothing to worry about* * based on my personal experience only, yours may varry

Paul Bunyan 13 #15 Posted February 16, 2010 XBL: Pevans721 and probably going to change it soon. All I play is Halo 3 and COD4 (don't have MW2) because my selection of games is awfully small. I play a lot though since I can't play on the PC properly for a while. Also, for the whole red rings of death thing, anyone who's gotten it most likely had their 360 inside an oven. I've had mine since they came out and no red rings.

Bad Company 2 is looking good though, also Bioshock 2 multi is kinda cool too feels slightly like Timesplitters. A lot of the 360's from the firsts two years had the problem due to heat building up if you have it on for 4+ hours because the cooling system wouldn't get all of the heat out of the system causing the video graphics chip to unsoder itself. Thus the reason for the towel trick. However the one I have now has lasted more than a year. I had to sent it in 2 times before and they lasted about 4-8 months. It just hated me lol.
