Hey guys. I got banned for "extreme griefing" when I did nothing of that sort. The other cool thing is that I wasn't playing when I got banned.. I tried joining one day and it said I got banned. My steam Id is: STEAM_0:1:29111900

Hey cash, remember a guy named John Egbert? I logged onto the 2fort server one night because my good friend Broseidon told me you and Biceptional were repeatedly trying to get him banned for "hacking". So I went in there, and after an hour of watching you faggots try and fail about... 15 times or so, I stepped in and told you to stop. What did I get?

You could have said something about being an admin. I was talking shit about Broseidon because before you joined, the server was almoust empty. Me and Mat were playing Melee only, he went pyro, started hunting us down to get easy kills and telling us how we suck . I have friends that know Broseidon and even they said he's an asshole. Would you believe some random guy who says he can ban you? It's not like I know all the admins on the server. Now I do realize that it was kinda offensive and apologize...

I did, many times! But you didn't believe me. And even then it's beside the point. If you really want me to believe what you said about Broseidon, you'd need a demo, because I am not gonna buy it. From the moment I've met him, he's been nothing but a nice, respectful guy. I have no reason to think otherwise. You, however, continued to harass him over "hacking" even after I asked you to stop, more than once. Hell, I even spectated him for about 10 minutes, taking a demo... nothing. He's just good at the flame-poof-axe combo.

It wasn't kinda offensive, it was a flat-out violation of the rules, and pretty much a slap to my face. Far as I'm concerned, you can stay gone. You and your little butt-buddy.

Well that's nice, asking for a demo when it happened quite a while ago. I read some ban request posts and I'm pretty sure you said that you guys only ban hackers.. Now banning someone for votebanning, which donators do all the time when they're not happy is kinda admin abuse to me. And if you really wanted to make your point about being an admin, you could have kicked me or something first.. You don't just permanently ban people after they leave the server...

Thing is, there were so few people there that all you needed was 3 votes, and that one other faggot that was there with you 2 was more than happy to provide it. And when I asked for proof, you basically told me to go fuck myself. So I checked him out myself, and even then, you wouldn't give it up. Your antics were making people leave the server. Do you think I'm just gonna let that shit go unnoticed?

here are my stats, my KDR on LoTus is over 3, Broseidons in 2.2, 2.3? Other servers? WZD servers, current rank: 6th with a KDR of 3.89. That even though he has his friend Turtle healing him all the time, so you decide whos the better player. Ohh and another thing, you should have noticed how other players were complaining about him hacking and trying to get him banned too? . I actually even found an unban request from him

Nobody was leaving the server, it actually filled up and by the time my friend left, it was full. My question is.. Why did it take you a whole day to ban me, I played after that, I played on Badwater in the evening... I apologized and explained myself and asked for an unban because I have a lot of friends that play on lotus servers. You can keep being an internet tough guy by denying my request, what ever makes you feel better. Honestly I though lotus would have slightly more reasonable admins

And I don't see why you banned my friend. He wasn't talking shit or anything. So he voted yes on the ban thing...are gonna permanently ban him for that? Why don't you just start banning everyone who votes...

Tag or not, you are basically admitting to raging on someone and abusing the voteban system. He had every right to play there as you. If you didn't like that he was actually, y'know... playing, you should've gone elsewhere.

None of this is even relevant. There was that 1 other butt-buddy of yours, and the unban request was for something stupid.

Excuse me? From the time I arrived, the server was about half full. As things continued, a bunch of them left. Other players joined, and left not long after.

It took a day because that was the day Mana implemented the new ban system with a web front-end. You and your buddy were the first 2 I tested it on.

Here's my reasonable explanation: I had never seen either of you before, and you both were not donators. This means you are most likely not regulars, and are just here from other servers. Think of the ban as a sort of... encouragement for shitty, abusive players to stay off ours and stop ruining things for others. When you run as many servers as Lotus does, keeping the playerbase happy and the donators donating means more than keeping a couple of asshats around.

Because he WAS also calling the votebans and talking shit. In fact, if I remember correctly, more shit came from him than you. Also, I would've banned the 3rd guy, but he wised up pretty damn quick once I mentioned I could ban him.

Abusing the voteban system? You mean what " your regular players " do all the time? I got votebanned/votekicked so many times because some donator didn't like the fact that I was dominating him. So do I go and cry to my admin friend about how scary internet trolls are hurting my feelings? Tell Broseidon to grow some balls. You guys are just cheap, I do it once and I get permanently banned, but people who paid you 10$ or so get to do it all the time and get away with it.

And then nothing happens... Plus the fact that you didn't kick me or anything kinda made it look like you're not an admin, unless I should have somehow known that you can't kick players or that you can only permanently ban people or that you guys were setting up a new ban syster or whatever. Saying that people left is just completely stupid, cause duhh people come and go all the time. It's not like they just sit in 2fort 24/7 without ever leaving...
