Votebans are not 30 minutes, that is the absolute minimum time.

A voteban can easily last up to 300 minutes. There are MANY factors which calculate into this upon voteban execution.

This is just to clear up some confusion. It saying 30 minutes in the chat is on purpose for reasons I won't discuss here.

And before someone suggests a sticky in the banned forum with this info:

1) No one reads stickies.

2) It's not there on purpose.

A small sliver of what we're looking at upon being votebanned would be nice. Specific buttons pressed before voteban=more time being banned? Info like this would be appreciated.

Right it can not be exploited by people who don't know how it works entirely.

Just image that upon voteban the server asks a magical unicorn if that person should be banned for a short time or a long time. The unicorn being a great judge of character determines the ban time.
