Hello. I was recently banned from your servers so I decided to take a look here on your forums. To my surprise you have a demo of me cheating??? Wow.....that's news to me.

I watched the demo several times and I don't see anything that says I'm cheating. I noticed the screen shake twice - once sightly during aim and another time when I wasn't aiming at anything or even around any enemies.

I remember killing a cloaked spy (I believe I was a soldier at the time) which was by complete fluke and then some guy spammed the screen that I was cheating and my gun was snapping all over..........I see.

In the vid my gun does not snap, it also does not stick to the targets head.............so what gives???

I've seen many vids of cheaters with bots using no-recoil or whatever it is they use and the screen shakes in a much different way (more violently) then that.

I don't cheat and never have. I've been admin for many years mostly in BF2 and used Battle recorder to catch many many cheaters so i know a thing or 2 about catching cheats which is why I'm here.

I ask that you watch the vid and reconsider. I haven't been playing TF2 very long but I do enjoy your servers and i was actually considering donating until I fired the game up today and noticed I was banned....lol

I'm not here to start a flame war or anything - just in hopes I get unbanned as I don't hack and never have........actually I kind of suck at this game...lol

I just took a look at that demo myself. To me personally it's too short too make any solid claim as to a aim bot. I only noticed that when you killed the solider that your mouse did twitch a bit while aiming up, but when going after the medic and heavy your aim was at the torso, not the head.

Again I don't know if that's clearly cheating or not. It's Josh or Mana's call in the end.

Look when he's aiming at people specifically he'll run around in circles staying locked on peoples' heads.

You know what I'm out in the middle of nowhere and you inspired me to drive home just to look at this again and specify when he's clearly aimbotting.

when the game timer gets to ~3:02 the soldier you snap to your mouse stays perfectly centered no jitter or anything(cept nospread). The demo before that was killed in the same manor.

This bot was seen a few days ago and it's clearly the exact same bot.

That's what I was looking for. Did you take multiple demos of it? Possibly I'm looking at the wrong one. I only saw that one linked in the ban thread.

What I'm seeing is:

Demo: He turns the corner and pops him upper body. (Standard stuff.)

Solider: His aim his kinda high and twitchy for a split second. (Kinda iffy.)

Medic: Shoots at torso, but is late in hitting him, No kill.

Heavy: In the back, to near shoulder blades. (Heavy doesnt turn around.)

Going after engie he aims at the engies upper area but is a considerable distance away, and then he gets killed.

He respawns tells you to "shut up", goes though mid left tunnel exit pops shots at heavy and demo.

After that he encounters the group, where I didn't see any head snap aiming.

Well we'll let josh/mana review it even though josh already banned you because it's pretty obvious you were using an aimbot.

But did you not pay attention to how he was flying around the soldier and kept perfect aim?

Also aimbots have an on/off button FYI. Probably noticed the soldier running around and didn't think he could make the shot so he flipped it to on.

If I had a demo of him shooting me in the middle of nowhere while I was cloaked this wouldn't be a question and you wouldn't even be backing him up no matter how much you love him.

Again, no one is doing anything, you're lashing out at me for reminding you this isn't a flame war. You added a - because you're mad I got a demo of you hacking. Points to immaturity.

Trust me even if you do somehow get unbanned VAC will ban you in a few days. This is why you shouldn't use hacks, they get you VAC banned and restricted from good server

I see that. It's just the demo only shows that one time happening, so not enough for me to draw a soild conclusion. If it had it happening consistently I'd be sure.

I REALLY slowed it down and did not see anything ban worthy. The ONLY thing that looked fishy would be the rapid aiming motion when killing the soldier...but he wasn't even aimed or at the soldier when that occurred.

I think it should be overturned.

I have no idea what happened prior to the demo you recorded. I am simply going by the evidence you've posted, and from that I don't see anything that would constitute a ban.

It would be cool if an admin could review this again. I know there are many servers to play on, but I happen to like your servers. If I didn't I wouldn't be here.
