Dashuu 11 #1 Posted August 9, 2010 I've had this problem on and off for a few months, but lately it's become much more severe. I can't find or connect to my favorite servers. When I search for servers I can find a wide assortment but I can't find servers under the favorites, history, or friends tabs. When I first connect they occasionally show up, but only for a minute or so. If I type 'connect' and the IP into the console it will try to connect, but eventually fail. I'm thinking this is somehow firewall related, but I can't find the issue. My router is configured to let everything through, and my software shows no conflict. If any of you have any advice or ideas I'd appreciate it.
Mana 3,867 #2 Posted August 9, 2010 Disable the firewall and then try? Also, do you use peerblock or similar? If, disable it.
Krash 1,040 #3 Posted August 9, 2010 My favorites and history occasionally dont load, if you want to get back to Lotus servers just put "LIVE NUDES" or "Mana" into the tags field.
Dashuu 11 #4 Posted August 9, 2010 Disable the firewall and then try? Also, do you use peerblock or similar? If, disable it. I've tried disabling the firewall, at least software wise. I haven't tried disabling my router's firewall, but that's because I'm not entirely sure how. I might trying connecting directly just to see if it is a router issue. As for peerblock or any other similar programs, I don't use them.

pilvlp 2 #6 Posted August 9, 2010 Try directly connecting to your modem. If it works, try Googling on how to disable your firewall or how to allow TF2
