Spawn Door Sticky Camping

ok i searched the forums for a rules section but didnt read anything reguarding spawn door camping.

I only play on 1 map 24/7 2fort west.

There is a guy whenever i am playing Always camps spawn doors with sticky bombs. Is this against the server rules? Its not as if he does it once or twice in a 4 hour period, he often eventually gets killed, spawns, sticky jumps across and mines doors again.

This goes on and on till he gets tired off it. What say you Lotus? Any rule on this behavior? Its one thing if the intel is being run out of the base and he his helping defend, but he's doing it purely because he can.

Make it so he can't easily do it. Otherwise, in my opinion, it's a very valid tactic.

I doubt there are any rules against it. If it makes you cry you can votekick and other players will get involved if they find it particularly annoying.

Or you could just do what I do. Win.

There are no rules at all against sticky camping. In a map like 2fort there are multiple spawns and in one spawn there are two routes out of it. If someone is camping the main spawn, odds are your team sucks and deserves to lose anyway.

Seems like you found an answer to your question all on your own. Anyways, spawn camping is a valid technique of winning the game. A very easy way of defeating the camper(s) is to build an uber, take someone out who can take the camper(s) out, and after they're dead, don't be terrible at the game and let them spawn camp you again.

Some people can only sticky jump and plop stickies onto a door and right click when it opens. Counter them and watch them slowly fall off the leader board because they have no other abilities. One of the best things to do is to snipe them just before they go to jump (preferably a body shot) so they blow themselves up or die from the landing. Much more comical.

Alright i was just asking. I didn't come here to cry or complain, i can easily handle my own. Usually when he spawn camps i make it my goal to kill him and i usually do 80% of the time so is not a big deal.
