Ronin Or Samurai,who Is Better?

Let's sum it all up:

Samurai wins Ronin in 1v1 without BG's. Ronin wins Samurai with BG's.

But you can't exactly say what unit is better judging by 1v1 duels. Because their effectiveness should be tested in online battles.

Overall Samurai is used more than Ronin. And BRJokerz think that Samurai wins the debate.

The pros of Samurai are:

- Faster attack rate (than Ronin)
- Faster speed (than Ronin)
- Incredibly useful "Dragon Skin" BG
- The possiblity to harvest Yang with Samurais (their Seppuku) allowing Dragon to get upgrades/heroes/Dragon Fire.
- The possiblity to tank towers with Samurai (due to "Dragon Skin"): let a tower hit Samurai so you can take it down with "Fire Arrows" for example.
--  tank-distract with Samurai (due to "Dragon Skin"): send Samurai so enemies will attack  him first, then you can attack with something else like horses/whirling spear/concussion smash e.t.c
- The Seppuku that deals quite a damage (possible to combine with flash powder or dragon fire, or all at once)
- The bow that allows range combat (and the damage switch from cutting to piercing, that's important)
- The possiblity to upgrade Samurai's health or damage. It's a slight advantage due to the yang cost of the upgrades, but hey, it exists.

The pros of Ronin are:

- "Yin blade" BG allowing to harvest Yin. (Even more useful with stamina upgrade)
- After-death-ability that slows enemies and boosts allies' damage.
- A blunt/piercing defense upgrade allowing Ronin to tank towers if there are no heroes around. (Still not as effective as Samurai due to the damage income)

I think it's pretty clear right now. Still, Ronins can be used in certain situations to counter specific units, for example- draining heroes/units stamina or that one AntiWolf tactic (Witches+Ronins).

Hi you forgot using blood bond it's qaiet usfull

 

if you use a Budo  but yeah the point goes to Samurai  

 

among other things, how will capture tempered steel

and dragon skin

Blood bond means using another unit so I don't count that + it works in a wrong way making both Ronin and BB target suffer damage.

Maybe but it also good if will be more units 8 ronins + blood bond  take 50 % lses damage and  transport 85% damage to for example Budo   this could survive more + geisha on horse may work and geisha to budo
