Game Crashes And Says "could Not Find Supported Display Mode"

When I installed Battle Realms on my old computer that runs windows xp, the game doesnt work!

It starts up and then a black screen fills up the screen and says 'Could not find supported display mode'.

I tried upgrading my directx to the latest one but it doesnt work.

I even tried updating my video card's driver to the latest one but that doesnt help either.

I was wondering if someone here can help me solve the problem?
