Alltalk Between Dead Arena Players Should Be Enabled

It looks as if alltalk between dead players is turned off on the arena server. This could be why I've always found the server strangely quiet. Can it be turned on?

Talking is one of the very few actions available for dead players. While normal alltalk is a flavour setting not everyone will agree with (including me usually), I can't see any reason to have alltalk between dead arena players disabled.

On Arena people are generally chatting and lounging and complaining after dying until the last players are dead and the round starts again. Especially with a scramble every 3 rounds people now end up not talking much at all. Or talking and expecting the other team's dead guys to be able to hear them, which did not happen to me at all. Especially not multiple times x:

Strange. I'm so used to being able to talk between dead players I assumed it was a default setting this server changed. Might have been plugins then, I guess.

Perhaps most servers just have Alltalk enabled period.

I wish there was a way to enable voice between all dead players. That would be awesome if this were possible. If it's a plugin, I'd love to see it installed.

Possibly most servers have it enabled. But certainly not the servers I played on that had alltalk between dead players. Regular alltalk is just annoying if you're playing seriously.

A google search turned up this plugin: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=148069. I think it can be used with tf2.

sm_deadtalk -2: Dead all talk sounds like the correct option. But really, this shouldn't be the only method or plugin lifting the talking restriction between dead members on opposite teams since this plugin looks to be from 2011 and this was possible since long before this year in my playing experience.

I can see how the proper command would be difficult to find, being mentioned a whopping several posts earlier in the conversation.

Looks like regular alltalk is now enabled upon round end and disabled on round start, so thanks. This still isn't as good as good as being able to deadspeak socialize after dying and waiting for the rest of the players to finish playing (which can take a long time, hence, important!) but it's certainly an improvement.
