Hacking Issues On Uk Stockmaps.

I'm not sure how prevelant these issues are on other servers, or even other Lotus servers as I almost exclusively play the UK StockMaps server, but..

Recently there've been a loooooot of problems with speed/krit hacking, which is emptying the server and even worse, causing votebans that ban innocent players. The problem is that the hackers rename to a name currently in the server, and more often than not, rename to confuse votebans when initiated. Granted, if you know the legit players SteamID you can determine which is the hacker in the voteban list using Status, but that takes a little while to figure out and trying to explain and co-ordinate that in a server of 32 people is nigh on impossible.

I don't know whether it's possible or not, but my solution would be to use a server side script to block names that use a space at the beginning or end of the name. That's because the hacker(s) typically put a space after the name to rename. That would atleast allow players to more easily identify the offending person and initiate a correct voteban. Any solution that would prevent a seemingly duplicate name would be appreciated.

Some players who've been playing on the Lotus UK StockMaps server for a long time have been votebanned and even though it's only for half an hour, if it repeatedly happens it might kill off the mini-community going on there which would be a crying shame imo!
