Please Unban. Accused Of Using Aimbot

I was banned at an unknown time but, I assume it happened over the weekend or sometime earlier this week when I was not playing. I just tried to join the server but it said I was banned for aimbot.

since the ban occurred when I was NOT playing, i do not have a screen shot of my console.

Since I don't have any hacks, I don't know how I could have been banned other than through spectating in game and thinking I wasn't legit

my gamer tag is Michael and I frequent the dust 2 css beta server.

I have known Michael for a long time now and I can personally vouch for him that he doesn't hack. He is just a good player...and many people cant handle that fact.

I cant believe the Lotus staff reviewed the clip submitted by 'Col Stone' and concluded he hacks. For Christ sake's guys don't just make a hasty decision as to someone hacks and ban him just like that....

Heres the thread started by 'Col Stone' to ban 'Michael'...its BS in my opinion that lotus staff found him to be aim botting.. Peace

I haven't had a chance to watch this demo yet, and I probably won't have time tonight - but I will watch it and post my thoughts ASAP.

In the mean time I'd like to add that I have been playing with Michael for a long time too (on the Lotus server) and although he is a GREAT player, I never suspected him cheating. Only thing I can say at this point is that his is one of the lowest STEAM_IDs I've seen in a long time, so that means he's been playing CS on steam for a LONG time, and never been banned by VAC. I know that doesn't necessarily prove anything, but it goes to show he is a long-time player who _should_ be good.

Michael - are you saying you weren't playing at all this weekend, or just that you weren't banned WHILE you were playing? Just curious as Col. Stone said he recorded this demo Sun. night and your post seems to indicate you weren't gaming this weekend.

Again, I'll watch the demo when I can and post my thoughts again at that time.

Maybe my days all seemed blurred together, cause the stats page says I was played on sunday.. lol.

But what i meant was that the ban occurred sometime after sunday and today when i tried to log in.

is there a waiting period or does the server need to be reset for the unban to become effective? I just tried to join but it says that I'm still banned
