Donor Name Color Ideas

Would you the donors be interested in being able to use all the colors that TF2 has for your ingame name?

This could be done, but then there would be no easy to tell admins apart from donors.

So to solve that we would have to add a prefix:

Example:

<p style="background-color: #000">(Donor) Name: mumble mumble.

(Subscriber) Name: mumble mumble.

(Supporter) Name: mumble mumble.

</p>

And admins example:

<p style="background-color: #000">(Admin) Name: mumble mumble.</p>

The prefix would be in team color, to allow the ability to easily distinguish between teams.

This would be similar to how the voice menu prefixes (Voice) next to your name.

Furthermore we could also have donors be able to set multiple colors in their name, like such:

<p style="background-color: #000">(Donor) LongName: mumble mumble.</p>

I agree the staff should have like a prefix before the name or a different color, because the 2 different greens aren't much different from each other.

Staff should have one color like orange and the donators stick with the green, and i guess a prefix for the members would be helpfull to stop all the problems with apps "i didn't know it was a bot (V2)"

Agreeing with this. That's what I tried to ask you about Mana, how as an Admin are we able to change the color of our names. Because at this point the majority of servers are unable to distinguish the 2 different greens from another. They don't recognize it.

I'm not sure about the whole colour thing for everyone, it would probably be confusing as hell, but prefixes for Admins, Members and Donors would be great.

I think things should stay as they are. Maybe there's someone hacking on the server and you want to do a demo on him, but because of the prefix he might know immediately that you are Admin and leave as soon as you join spectator.

Give Admins the option to toggle their prefix invisible, problem solved.

The prefix is in chat only. So if you join spec that won't give you away.
