Rocket Jump

Recommended Posts

So I've been using my time wisely on my computer today by watching tf2 YouTube videos. It still technically still counts as "research".

I've seen dudes kill it with the rocket jump. I can do it to get on top of things, but some of these guys are bouncing around the levels like flying angels of death. Anyone with some pointers or cautionary tales of fail?

I guess you mean pogo jumping, a.k.a. rocket jumping multiple times in a row from floors and walls?

If you're trying to double jump the most common mistake is pressing forward key. There is no need to hit jump again either. Right before you land from your first jump, look down and hit duck + fire at the same time. I recommend rocket jumping 101 series on youtube for an easier explantion.

just find a jump server. a lot of times there are some pretty badass dudes in there that will help you out. its just something that takes a lot of practice. but once you have it your golden. also changing your crouch to your right click helps a lot. Tons of pro players play like that. TLR, platinum, dave, carnage etc. also mygamingedge.com has TONS of videos to help with any class.

was just told that MGE is closing down so its all free. here is their video archive
