How Do You Use Direct Ip Mutiplayer

can some one plz help me out. i want to use direct IP game in mutiplayer but i dunno were to get the IP to use. if im hosting what ip do i give others?

I can tell how I use it simply:

 

when I go to  Direct ip

down below is my local address ip thats my address

 

I use thats adres to others palyers and write to first window host aders

 

and use other ip adres from conected couputers to web 

 

all problem in direct ip is not all computers are  permission to be a host

 

all players should create game one by one and rest should join to him

 

that you can find which cpu have permission to be  host

if u want do IP,who host?

if u host,give your ip to other player who want to join...

if other player host,u must now his/her IP....

a quick tutorial( not for routers or ISP)

first go START-ALL PROGRAMS- ACCESSORIES- COMMAND PROMPT as the pictures appears

then after the black screen show TYPE: ipconfig/all like this!

if ur connection is running vie router or ISP the ip will chnage as 255* or 1.1-1.5*

after u get ur ip u make a host under IP in the game ( make sure u give ur IP to ur friends then ur friends should add ur IP as show below :

That ip is wrong...

That is most probably your internal IP address for your LOCAL network.

Go to:

http://myip.dk/

And get your IP from there. Also you need to have the ports open on your router/switch/whatever.

uhmmm....... ive tried that... but i can see in my ip is just the same as my local ip...... and it isnt working with my friend

If you want to play with other people, don't use Direct IP.
