Is there a place to discuss Neph's plugin?

I put it on today!! Yeah!!

But it is causing the server to either crash or change map every ten minutes or less. Very Weird.

If players are playing on it, it will crash. If no one is on it looks like it is changing maps after 10 minutes. Before I added this it would change maps every 30 as my timelimit is set to 30.

Anyone have any ideas, or can point me to a discussion thread on this?

I found out last night beetlesmod now does what the plugin does and i got no crashes

I dont even have a plugin anymore on my server. After this update today i just threw on the sm_tags plugin for sourcemod and im good to go.

I'm really not sure as to what the fuck is up with Valve now. You do not allow a feature or a "mod" for 6 months only to simply take it away and if people still use it threaten to manually ban them of the list...

So apparently because they can't fix their shitty system, and can no way in hell listen to the community they are just simply threatening to delist us manually...

yeah i saw that. i feel thats complete bullshit for the 32 player vanilla servers out there. im fighting the good fight and voicing my opinion on the steam tf2 forums and hopefully my plea will be heard. i've already had numerous people agreeing with me on there.

anyways, i will probably continue to use the sm plugin i use untill the next update and before updating take it off. that should stop them from delisting me after the update. my server just doesnt have enough regulars to push it to the top of the custom list pileup.

I still use the old windows engine.dll and the player limit remover and our 32 slot servers happily show up in the 'Internet' tab , but wont show up in the Custom tab.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it ! or fu*k it up even more Valve !

so ive started to write emails to valve about not delisting stock 32 player servers and keeping them on the internet tab.

please if you have one write to them and tell them that we do not deserve to be put with servers that are insta-spawn, deathmatch madness.

please dont be a dick and write all emails with intelligent reasons why we should be listed with all the other vanilla servers.

from what i've been reading what they are planning on doing is just delisting the servers completely untill the plugins are taken off. Some dude on the sourcemod forums admited to talking with the devs about the sourcemod workaround so they are making sure that wont work when they delist servers.

The Linux Beta update is out... They must still be working on the IP ban-o-tron before releasing it out to everyone's outrage.

do you know for sure that they are going to ban ip's? that just seems ridiculous since many of the servers are rented and doing so would cause future owners of that ip to not be able to use it for valve games. also they would be banning the majority of the custom servers since they have all migrated back to the internet tab.

Only for a short time, after that you're lucky to get an update every 6 months to a year. I can't remember the last counter-strike update and if they follow the same path as counter strike they will run the game into the ground with sihtty update after shitty update.

It would be a temporary ban probably. Or you could petition the ban with Valve or something... Who knows what they come up with, chances are it wouldn't be good.

yeah, i hope so to but i really doubt they will do that since 90% of the custom servers are still on the internet tab. Now that wouldn't be very good customer relations if they banned all those servers. Not only would server admins be pissed, im sure there would be thousands of pissed off players.
