Ppl Who Cant Save Or See Mini-Map Come In(Solution)

Recommended Posts

think many ppl with window 7 face the problem of not being able to save or see mini-map..

not sure if this has been solved in this forum, i didnt come across any posts with a solution, so i decided to share some of the stuff that worked.

mini-map:

ATI graphics card seem to have no prob.

nvidia users, go to nvidia 3D option, set anti aliasing to override application , then choose 8x. you can now see the mini-map.

Ati graphic also seem to have no jam screen.

Can't save:

go to ur BR folder, go to ur BR.exe, open the properties, set compatibility to window xp service pack 2 and tick the "run this program as admin" box

you can now save in the game.

I found two other ways to fix these problems too

mini-map:

For nvidia users, download the latest driver on their website. I have a geforce graphics card so I went to geforce.com and found my graphics card in particular and downloaded the latest driver. If you don't know what graphics card you have, you should find it in the about section describing your computer.

Can't save:

I had this problem before too. One thing I can say is make sure you have the folder. In your Battle Realms folder (you should know you are there when you see folders such as Effects, AIProfiles, Levels, etc) create a new folder and name it Saved Games. Sometimes this folder is missing for some reason and if that's the case then it's a simple fix.
