Tf2 Items - Hat Effects/colors

Hi, I run my own TF2 server and I was wondering if anyone knew how to setup TF2 Items so that you can change any hat color and give it any effect. I see that Lotus has that on the donator package and I was wondering if someone could help me set it up.

Hi

The Lotus donation benefits do not apply to the actual items themselves, they are effects applied on our servers only. To do this, while playing on a Lotus server, type "menu" (without the quotes) into the regular chat, and the donor menu will appear. From that menu, there will be things like "initiate votekick" and so on, and one of them should be something like "custom hat effect".

Use the number keys to navigate the menus. Effects usually don't apply until next respawn.

TL;DR, It's a plug in that the Lotus Admins have added to Lotus servers.
