This server (94.23.12.78:27015) has huge lag problems.It`s a very populated server,has players almoast all the time and it would be a shame to let it die.Many people are quiting the game and go to another server because of the lag.Maybe it`s because of the replay thing,i dont know, but somebody should really look into that.Thanks in advance.

Yup, I'd shoot a rocket and I would see it spazzing out halfway to the target around 4 seconds after I clicked M1.

It is actually normal and by valve's design.

Of course we can work around this awesome design with manual interventation or plugins.

So what happens is SRCDS leaks memory and in general just gets laggy the more uptime it has. And our servers are set to restart only if they get empty. That server in particular has neither crashed nor emptied since the last update.

That server box has 24GB of ram so you'd think with the 16+ GB free at this moment it shouldn't lag, but SRCDS is just awesome like that.

It could also be replay as well. That thing has tons of issues:

But usually when I check this server is has some extremely high up time. In the meantime I disabled replay (pending map reload). Tell me how it goes.

It's the replay, for sure.

The lag always occures shortly before and after the replay message shows up.

This server has big problems. now the donator features dont work.

and you can`t open the pile of curses when you are connected to the server.
