Mapvoting On Custom Maps Server?

I noticed that the custom maps server is pretty frequently empty. Is it possible we could have mapvoting enabled there, but for custom maps only? I tried to play there with a group of friends last week but it was stuck on snakewater so we all bailed, =/.

I was also thinking of trying to organize a bball tourney, over a few weeks, (with decent prizes) if the interest was there. Would it be possible to use MGE mod on this server ?

Yay! Someone posted here. I think Mike is admin for that server isn't he. Mike can we have map votes? And MGE? Or bball maps?

I know that we have a swiftwater, but as far as I know that's the only map on the server. And unfortunately, I don't have admin permissions on that. But adding those maps would tack on extra work for the real admin and staff. And from what I was told way-back-when when I wanted Lotus to add a custom map server to the list was that if it isn't in the quickplay featured list it's unlikely to happen.
