Unable To Connect To Any Of Your Servers.

Evening, i have only just got this game and a friend said i should try playing on your servers as there great for newbies like me to learn to play. I cant however find any of your servers when using steam and even when i enter your server i.p it says cant connect?

Im new to online gaming and unsure how to proceed. My house mate pointed me out to this site as he sometimes plays on your servers and so i thought id ask if you had any idea why im unable to connect, many thanks for your time.

Also my friend has just mentioned he was recently banned from one of your servers (For no doubt acting his shoe size not his age) and as we share a wifi connection that may have something to do with it?

There is no ban in our system for that SteamID.

Are you given a reason for why you can't connect (i.e. server is full)? If there were a ban, you would get a specific message as to why, and given that you have less than 1 hour of playtime, it is extremely unlikely that you have found your way onto our lists...

Do you have his SteamID? It would have had to have been extremely serious and repeated to merit an IP ban.

OH NO Cactus. This totally unsuspicious and completely innocent individual was caught up in the big mean actions of his roommate, coincidentally not until right after said roommate was banned.

Lets get on the unban IMMEDIATELY. Such a travesty we can not afford.

When i enter your servers i.p it just says server not reponding?

Also i should add my housemate said it was a voteban.

Read the pinned thread in the Unban subforum, the one that says "votebans are not permanent". We will not remove votebans, they will expire by themselves.

Ok many thanks for your reply but I'm still slightly confused as I have never played on any of your servers before and only recently started using steam as I'm an Xbox live veteran. Only using steam as my house mates rave about it but I'm guessing as we all use the same I.p via wifi I might be affected by there actions or indiscretions for which I apologise on there behalf.
