Hey,

I tried to go on a Lotus server this afternoon and found i was banned for not listening to an admin? I'm not to sure what this means seeing as i was doing nothing different than I usually do but I'd like to request having the ban taken off. I have a good friend of mine who's a donator and he likes to play on Lotus servers, so its hard to play with him when im banned

You were banned by Kitten on the 10th July. Your ban will expire on the 17th July.

I'm guessing Kitten will be along to explain why you were banned, and a staff member will take things from there.

I received a complaint from a lotus regular that numerous people had been sitting in spawn taunting, again and again, for over 20 minutes. I joined the server, and found about 5 people doing this on blue. Numerous people were complaining and trying to votekick, but the plugins were broken with the update, and even regular votekicks couldn't be initiated. The spawn partiers were well aware of this and basically taunting everyone about their inability to remove them. I issued a request that they leave spawn, and they refused. I gave a very adequate grace period before issuing temp bans. I banned everyone for a week because of their *very* poor attitudes responding to me, and because I felt that these individuals were doing something analogous to using a glitch to their advantage - that no one could remove them, even admins.

first it's she* and I had no idea the plugins werent working, sorry bout that! Usually i play, but that day a bunch of friends joined the server and we were all opening the new coolers so we were sitting around in spawn. Sorry if we disturbed anyone, I promise you it won't happen again. It would be awesome if I could get unbanned, Lotus is life :> (also tristian is my donor friend, if he was banned as well it was probably my fault.)

also as a side question, why doesn't your photos show painted hats and whatnot? Cause i know my hat is mint and justi's are pink.

Your behavior was the least bad of the individuals who were banned from this incident admittedly.

Your "spawn party" group, however, was well aware that they were disturbing the server:

1). There were numerous instances of abusive language that I requested be curtailed.

2). Your group was making fun of attempts to vote kick them:

In short: you guys were doing this for at least 20 minutes before I got there - I was told that there were attempts to votekick you all that were not possible without plugins before I arrived. I saw people calling for you to be votekicked when I joined. I told you guys to stop doing what you were doing - and you didn't (and you clearly saw my request because you responded to it). You were ruining the game, by causing your team to get rolled again and again - but you guys were enjoying yourselves because you knew you couldn't be kicked, and you abused this fact.

I would like to point out that it's not a permanent ban - it's only for a week.

I'd like to say a couple of these people who were "oh no, not banned from lotus" and didn't care they were ruining the game, a longer ban if not perm. is justified for those shit-heads
