I had no idea anything had previously happened, but once I joined it seemed to me, and apparently several others, that you were being nothing but a troll. You indeed were playing for 13 minutes and still had yet to get a single point, so I didn't see any reason why I shouldn't vote to kick a troll in order to open up a spot for someone who was going to actually contribute to the server.

My bad for bringing your name into this, I have played with Moss for many months now, never knew she (was a she) nor that she was an admin until tonight (I am friends with other Lotus Members,) nor that she took issue with me. (This is not the first time I have "messed around" on Dustbowl)

The first votekick came as a complete shock to me (had to check the console to see who even intiated it) as the only other time in the last 2 years I was kicked/banned was by ProLoser because I started talking crap to him... MY BAD ProLoser, lesson learned

My assumption making this post was that you were the "admin" that intiated the instant kick.

As far as Moss's (Spagsauce) response goes....

I get more points messing around getting taunt kills than most noobs on the server...

I have pretty much done nothing else other than trying to get taunt kills only for the 4 days straight...

Why?

Because after you play this game for 5+ years you have to become creative in the ways you have fun playing it.

I usually reserve this type of fun to Hightower, but lately there has been less trolldiers and more tryhards than I prefer.

Ask any regular on Dustbowl and they will tell you I am very much a team player, because on Dustbowl I prefer to be tryhard mode and actually cap the point.

When I find myself in a losing battle I revert to having fun in the ways I know how.... (or I team switch, no fun in losing )

Like Taunt Kills! When you play Tf2 as long as I have, you come up with different ways of having fun with the game, last thing I expect is to be kicked over it.

There is a big difference in starting a votekick and a donator initiating a votekick, everyone knows most people will just kick the person for the hell of it.

3 people did not start my votekick, just you.

Thank you ovloV for providing these logs to us. Since you turned yourself in, I will tune down your ban from 7 days (which I'd usually give out for administrator disrespect and unproductive gameplay) to only 4, with hope that such incidents will not happen again.

I hope you understand that "playing since 2008." is not a reason to shit upon our admin team and not play the game.

Sphag is within his rights to remove players who disrupt gameplay. You were kicked by the server, not him, and the fact he used votekick instead of admin kick just makes him a better admin.

You are more than welcome to play the game where you get two points in 20 minutes, just not on our servers where we encourage actual gameplay, and especially not on our servers after an admin tells you to stop and properly warns you.

There is no hard and fast rule about whether we allow or disallow "unproductive gameplay". If the admin feels that it is irritating those on the server, then they will take action. Which is what Spag did, completely justified. If you're unhappy with a decision, talk to the admin, don't flame. We volunteer to help police the servers: we don't get paid or get any gamchangeing perks, and patince is a finite virtue in all of us.
