luop90 4,400 #2 Posted April 8, 2014 Check your lerp. Type net_graph 1 in the console. If lerp is flashing yellow, it means it's a server side problem.
Mana 3,867 #3 Posted June 18, 2014 It's a valve thing: RE: [hlds_linux] TF2: 100% CPU spikes since last update We've been looking into it. Any details people have are appreciated. -Eric (Valve) -----Original Message-----From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of BottigerSent: Tuesday, June 17, 2014 12:46 PMTo: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing listSubject: Re: [hlds_linux] TF2: 100% CPU spikes since last updateI tracked the problem down to vphysics at IVP_U_Quat::set_interpolate_smoothly(IVP_U_Quat const*, IVP_U_Quat const*, double)I sent Eric Smith a dump 5 days ago. EDIT: Update We have a fix for this that we'll release with the next TF2 update. The problem we found was specifically related to item_teamflag entities (CTF maps and maps that use a custom entity like MvM, and SD_Doomsday). -Eric (valve)
