I was votebaned twice within 90 seconds of getting on the TX dustbowl #2 server 69.162.126.141.. both times the reason was "conga or death"   console logs and demo are below.

Espi, although I don't have screenshots like you, you are definitely far from innocent in things like this. A brand new taunt came out, and 23/24 people (only not you, we're don't a full conga around the map.

You decided to come in, and ruin everyone's fun. I understand your frustration, but you have to realize this isn't a competitive server, and when you were voted out, the votes were 100%. When does that happen.

Sometimes you need to just have fun, instead of being the rotten spoiled kid you're being. It was just you not joining us. Have some fun sometimes.

Exactly. It was a pub server having fun. Everyone voted against you, because you came in and ruined the fun of 23 people espi. Look at your own logs. It wasn't just us who voted against you. Other people shared our thoughts. As a donor, we did vote kick you the first time. When you. Immediately came back and rage stabbed everyone, we banned.

"Because everyone else wants to be stupid too" is not a legitimate use of the voting system to boot people for playing the game.

 

That being said, there's no need to highlight the votes against you.  People are free to vote as they wish - it's not an abuse of anything.  Starting the vote in the first place, however, is not justified.  Also, how sure are you that the vote was for not joining the stupid, as opposed to that being an excuse for the particular group of people playing at the time, many of whom you have bad blood with?  You haven't exactly had an innocent history, so it's easy to see how nearly the entire server voted you off, regardless of the derping out.  In any case, next time call an admin so we can cancel the votes and/or remove the offenders more quickly.

In politics, no matter how silly an idea, it is always brought to a vote. If it passes, that is the majority speaking. Ask any person on that server, and they would tell you today was probably the best day on Lotus Texas. Ask Felix, or Sir Hiss, or any of the other regulars. If people want to goof around, they will.

Regardless of started the banning, Espi would've been kicked/banned pretty fast anyways because everyone on the server was using the new taunt and having fun with it.

It wasn't just me. The whole server was doing this. Through the three hours I was on, non donors also started votes. Because people were having a fun time, and enjoying it. I have tons of screens hots of the whole time. It was very fun.

Reviewing.

After an hour of reconsidering and talking to Mana...

I'm a bit bamboozled at this one. I think some people took this situation far more seriously than they should have... after all, the server was full, people were having fun, and if Jordy/the other guy didn't votekick, the rest of the server probably would. All of the votes passed with over 80%, even with around 23 players at one time. If the percentage was lower, I could probably attribute that to people mashing random buttons, but it's obvious that the server wanted you gone. 24 players were having fun after an update testing out new taunts, and deciding to rush in there and probably ruin the fun for them - I'd votekick you as well. It seems like too many people wanted to have fun like that after an update.

For the record, Jordy and the other guy were wrong with this. They should not do this shit again or I WILL permanently ban them. This is an one-time exception and I want that to be clear - don't stir shit up again, especially you, Jordy, I've seen your name popping up in ban and unban requests one too many times.
