Morgz' unban request

Hello again!

I would like to request an unban from LotusClan servers, once more.

I have already apologized to everyone I had previously wronged and have given certain members what I hope is enough time to start seeing things more rationally.

I have no intention of joining your organization, at all in fact. I simply request access back onto your servers.

Since you've done this before you'll know we need you to follow the format and provide some basic info such as steam3 id.

Our position hasn't changed since your previous request. For some things (like telling military personnel in the clan to die by stepping on an IED as they are deployed in the middle east) saying sorry just isn't enough.

Unban denied.

I will leave this unlocked for a bit but ask that only pbnj/mW respond (if he wants too).

I have no idea how to make amends to Cactus. I have tried apologizing three times now. It's hard to say sorry to a bully, though.

I guess I would surmise by saying:

"Fuck you Cactus. I still hope you step on an IED and die a horrible painful death."

 

If Lotus still holds personal interactions between members as any kind of grounds for bans then I'd prefer to stay banned.

"Fuck you Cactus. I still hope you step on an IED and die a horrible painful death."

 

If Lotus still holds personal interactions between members as any kind of grounds for bans then I'd prefer to stay banned.

Just quoting this here for completeness:

 

I'll start this by saying that I will not be the one to decide whether or not to unban you. Given that I was the one who banned you in the first place, I think that it is fair to ask one of the other Staff members to make the final decision. That said, I will offer my feedback on this request.

 

Given the duration and severity of your bad behavior, and its recurrence after repeated interventions by Members and Staff, I do not support an unban. Specifics and links to threads provided below (obviously only accessible to Recruits/Members/Staff depending on the thread).

 

"I hope you step on an IED. No, wait. Tortured to death. <3" may have been the final straw which led to your ban, but it was by no means the only reason that this happened. 

 

You caused repeated disruptions in the forums, going so far as to post private messages in an attempt to embarrass people.

 

When confronted, you then offered an apology which is very similar to the one in this unban request. 

 

This was discussed by the Members, and more than one got in touch with you to tell you that your conduct was unacceptable. I tried myself, and made it clear that there would be no tolerance for further infractions. At this point, we considered the situation to be resolved. This did not last long.

 

In your final practice with us, you trolled an applicant, initiated abusive votekicks, and called Members "cunts". You were kicked for this. You came back. You kept trolling. You got votebanned. You bragged to others that you had "told off Staff", which made your ban worth it. 

 

You were offered the chance to sit out your voteban and return. You continued to troll. You were banned for longer. You continued to troll. You told me to die. You got banned and removed.

 

All of this took place just one month after your last "humble" apology. After your ban, you sent messages to a number of people making it clear that your previous apology was insincere and just a way to get out of trouble. 

 

I do not believe that it would be a good thing for the Lotus community to allow you to be unbanned. That said, if another Staff member decides to unban you, I would ask that it be done with the understanding that you will only be allowed onto the servers, and that you would never be allowed to be a member of the clan again.

If nothing else, you are very good at demonstrating that we made the right decision in banning you. It has been over nine months since you were removed, and obviously you have not changed at all. I actually feel bad for you. Good luck; have fun, just not on Lotus servers.
