You probably are running a router. Or you have firewall. Turn those crap off! Not enough people can host on BR.

A router or firewall has nothing whatssoever to do with this. Thats a noobish reply. A wall is always needed to be off if you wan't to play online games to the full extent its not just for BR. A router isn't the problem, a router has certain ports which let people connect to you, etc... If you turn off a router you won't have internet.... So who ever said turn it off is alittle mental :P No offense, that was a joke.

We didn't meant that, (we assumed that the reader had enough common sense to realizen that we meant ports.) This isn't a Literary Utopia, dovesink.

Dove you are wrong, very wrong. The firewall can be open as long as it has ports forwarded. Its a good idea to have a firewall especially if you post your IP online when doing games whitout gamespy. And you can turn of the router if you want to, however if you have more then one pc all others except for one will not work. (the internet in others that is)

Well welcome to reality sherlock, perfection will never be reached.

First of all we need conformity, which we don't have by far.
