{Dark}BerZerKer 0 #1 Posted December 20, 2005 first up, the sumo cannoneer and the serpent cannoneer. i prefer the sumo, because their attack sounds great, does superb damage against buildings. the serpent on the other hand looks better but seeing iron balls bouncing around doing minimal damage is not a turnon. you need about 8 serpents to take down a building in quick succession, whereas for the dragon you need only about 3 or 4. for serpent, i would choose musketeers with blast shots, as this battle gear greatly increses the musketeers damage to buikldings. {Dark}poolshark 0 #2 Posted December 20, 2005 Kegs are better. ID is the pwnz0r
{Dark}WolfBite 2 #3 Posted December 20, 2005 If you compare keg to a cannoneer. Cannoneer is definitely the best choice. If you compare on which is better to use, then I would go either way. Cannons are really strong because of their mass abuse of smoke. Kegs are really strong because of the mass abuse of indirect. so I can go either way, not that I use any of the strategies listed above.
{Dark}poolshark 0 #4 Posted December 22, 2005 Much as I love canns, I do have to go with kegs.. ID vs Smokes, I mean, if the person using ID isnt a nab, he would be able to own the canns before they are close enough to even use their smokes.
{Dark}WolfBite 2 #5 Posted December 22, 2005 Cannons are resistant indirect sherlock.
Tealjackit 0 #6 Posted January 2, 2006 Cannoneers are able to beat up some melee units while kegs are quite vulnerable to all melee types. Kegs are good outside of combat with their indirect fire, especially if you outnumber the opponent and don't want to risk losing the advantage. 4 shrapnels is a great way to just add damage when you dont know what unit to build. Cannoneers are pretty much a staple for serpents. The blunt damage counters aloooot of units. Smokebombs are abuseable. Yeah.
{Dark}BerZerKer 0 #7 Posted January 3, 2006 cannoneers get torn apart by staff adepts

{Dark}BerZerKer 0 #10 Posted January 9, 2006 next: blade acolyte vs swordsman. any views?
{Dark}KaBuKI 2 #11 Posted January 9, 2006 smoke baby is my thing but id is very strong when u abuse it is very easy to win depens on ur oponent with id u can kick the hell out of the musk but cannons are better their smoke is really good..
{Dark}WolfBite 2 #12 Posted January 9, 2006 Definitely blade acolyte. It is faster and stronger.
{Dark}BerZerKer 0 #13 Posted January 9, 2006 and i like the taunts and and movement speech as well. next: the two heavies samuari vs berseker. i say these two because warlock is the best, and ronin is better than samurai. samurai are super weak to magic whereas ronin can take a bit of damage before dying. berserker are the weakest of the 3rd tiers. so two weaklings against each other. the above passage is biased as i completely loath samurai for their sepukku and the damage it does to even allied units. bloody bastards. [{BeatZ}]-Ripper 0 #14 Posted January 14, 2006 I wanna say something to ID and smoke! For me it depends from map to map... on valley for example i would prefer ID cauz of the small river! Smoke is better on maps wher arent many hills or so. I think if u use them right both are very dangerous weapons!

[LOT]rundown 3 #16 Posted January 14, 2006 a berserker with lycanthrope can beat a samurai, ronin, and warlock easily
{Dark}WolfBite 2 #17 Posted January 14, 2006 not really, isn'y a ronin supposed to own a bezerker and a werewolf.
[LOT]rundown 3 #18 Posted January 14, 2006 I don't think a Ronin can kill a berserker and than a werewolf at the same time
[{BeatZ}]-Ripper 0 #19 Posted January 14, 2006 I have to ask something 1 more time.... what is warlock??? U know my english -ahem-
[LOT]rundown 3 #20 Posted January 14, 2006 it's the 3rd tier lotus unit, they look like wizards and shoot magic balls at people, they also drain stamina when they are engaged in melee
{Dark}WolfBite 2 #21 Posted January 14, 2006 A warlock is the ugly thing with tentacles that shoots balls of electricity in the lotus clan. You can make it if you send a lotus peasant into all three buildings.
[LOT]diablo 1 #22 Posted January 15, 2006 a ronin can beat a samurai even if it had yang blade.. because a ronin has yin blade....... yin turns the piercing into magic....... and i dont think yang blade changes it to magic aswell.... so a ronin can beat sam wolf..... and doesnt a cannoner beat a keg if they have mines?
[LOT]gumbercules 0 #23 Posted January 17, 2006 yea ronin can take out sams but as soon as ronin kill sams you better run before they suicide cause if you stay youre dead too. and cannoneer does kill keg with mine but keg also kills cannoneer with shrapnel keg you just need more shrapnel than mines to win. Waha 0 #25 Posted January 19, 2006 I did a test with this before so... the first one to deal damage will often win, samurai with bows can get a headstart and win ronin, provided their arrow hits, else they will get the first hit as they put away their bow. for bg, the same rule applies unless samurai already has yang points
