Added to ban list?

Today I logged on and went to play some dustbowl. I tired to join the server, but it says I have been add to the ban list?

 

I don't know why this happened, care to shed some light on this?

This seems like a "joke" bind, not the real deal, but it's still hack advertising.  I'd support lifting the ban if you can convince staff that 1) you're not hacking, and 2) you won't advertise hacks again, ever.  Tip: The classic "my brother/girlfriend/cousin/cat did it" is not convincing.

Well, I was following a person from a different server because I kept making him mad, and he was saying I was hacking. So I wrote up a script to say GET THE BEST HAX AT LMAOBOX.NET (because everyone has seen someone mass spam that) to see if I could get him to rage again for thinking I was hacking. I dont remember if it worked or not. Anyways, It was a one time thing. I wont advertise hax again. And I don't know how to prove I don't hack (I do have over 3500 hours on tf2 if that makes a difference).

Unless staff finds any proof of evasion or incriminating alts, I support lifting the ban.  This is because, as you stated, you have a lot of hours and no VACs, and the bind isn't indicative of the actual hack, so I believe that you were not actually hacking, but thought that alluding to it might be funny.  I don't think a permaban is necessary to make you realize that it's not.  I will only support lifting it this one time though.  If you do it again, nobody will sympathize, so I would suggest removing the bind.  My support doesn't necessarily mean you will be unbanned, however, so we'll await staff's final decision.

Please don't antagonize other players, that could be considered griefing.  Since Spag is in favor and she was banning admin and the text doesn't exactly match the hacks text...
