Swim_Isaac 0 #1 Posted May 3, 2015 Hello Lotus Clan, I just found out that I have been banned from your servers for hacking. I browsed the forums and found the demos. I am now positive that I have been pranked/scammed because this was not me. I first found out that I was banned from your servers after getting this email from who I believe used my account: http://www.mediafire.com/view/y8n6r1l183uo6md/Screenshot%20(1).png I'm really sorry about all of this. I do not know how my steam account was accessed without me knowing it. I have been trying to chat with him for more proof but he is not responding to my messages. I do not hack and never will. I watched the demos and that was clearly using an aimbot or hack. Is there anything I can do to get unbanned? I would really appreciate it if I could talk to an admin for help or anything. -Swim_Isaac

Nano 7,892 #7 Posted May 3, 2015 Calm down turbo, first few posts on the forums need to be approved before showing up. We should be able to compare the IP used during hacking vs your normal IP to help us in our decision making.
+Dracco 2,079 #8 Posted May 4, 2015 Calm down turbo, first few posts on the forums need to be approved before showing up. We should be able to compare the IP used during hacking vs your normal IP to help us in our decision making. I know that Obvious added a few more bans based on the IP check, so we should be able to go off of that. As far as any dispute as to whether or not the hacking actually happened: I am confident that my recording proves that it did. In addition, there was also another recording by another player on the server before I got there that confirms this as well.
Swim_Isaac 0 #9 Posted May 4, 2015 Hello, Thanks for all of the help guys! I am afraid that Matt is still on my account, even after I changed its password, because my new score as sniper is 43 I'm in the middle of changing my account password again, but I'm really afraid that I might need to trash this account. I have no clue how he keeps on finding the password. I think his main account is Matthew_The_Great_2000 on steam, if that helps. At this point I'm just going to leave it to you guys... thanks for all of your time! -Swim_Isaac

I'd suggest you change your password once more for your steam account AND your steam account's associated email and lock your account only onto your computer using steamguard. It will block you from trading for the first 15 days, but better that than lose your account. Setup your account as well so that you will receive an email for any unauthorized computer that wishes to access your steam account.

If he seems to know your password rather easily, then you either made your password to easy or he's got a keylogger on your computer. Just an idea
+Skaila 5,462 #12 Posted May 5, 2015 Okay, so we looked into it. The problem here is that there is no real proof that someone else is using your account. And even so, the action has been done. Hacking is a permanent ban regardless. I do feel your pain if someone else is tainting your name and trying to get under your skin. The only advice I can give is to try and get your account secure again for yourself. However, we cannot give you an unban. Good luck with your account though.
