need help about screen

i'm using windows 8 and i open battle realms..the screen like square..i put 1024x768 the max one but the screen is square..how to solve it??please help..i want screen fit to windows 8

press on desktop right mouse button display setting

find properities or advenced display settings

and find resolution

 

Ithink you may have 1440 x 900 

or something like that

 

but you must be sure of your settings

 

after you find your resolution go to main game folder 

and open file Battle_Realms.ini

 

and change those two numbers

 

[Language]

LanguageCharacter = E

LanguageString = ENG

 

[VideoState]

Width                   =1024   

Height                  =800     

Depth                   =16

Fullscreen              =1

HardwareTL              =0

 

[sound]

Enabled  = 1

NumSFXChannels =16

SoundTimerPeriod = 40

SoundTimerResolution = 5

MapSoundsEnabled=1

Could you give a pictures how it looks

 

that mean you are play in a window mod in a game or

your game after play

is stretched on screen and not center fit to screen

I dont know what problem do you have

but for sure you should know your resolution of screen 1290x860 something like or 1600x1200

and then put your numbers to Battle Realms.ini file in main directory game

 

in file should be:

 

[Language]

LanguageCharacter = E

LanguageString = ENG

 

[VideoState]

Width                   =1024   -----\ here you should set your resolution

Height                  =800     -----/  eg.(1600x1200) exit file and save it

Depth                   =16

Fullscreen              =1

HardwareTL              =0

 

[sound]

Enabled  = 1

NumSFXChannels =16

SoundTimerPeriod = 40

SoundTimerResolution = 5

MapSoundsEnabled=1

TO GET THE INFO SAVE THE PICTURE AND FIND THE DETAILS OFA FILE SHOULD HAVE 1280/960 PIXELS
