Immature Admin In Central Dust Server This Morning

I was playing in the server this morning and one of your admins "You suck and have no life" was being an absolute tool. He constantly switched players from team to team because they did not play the class he wanted them to.

Not only was he doing that, but when just about everyone in the server was on him about it he started switching people every time they spawned it seemed. And with all of that it of course killed the server as people starting leaving and others just runnin around doing a lot of nothing.

So I figured I visit the site and let you all know, because you never know this douche could have caused problems before and now he'll get his admin taken away. And if not, at least it's the first notice about this guy and his admin abuse.

The team was heavily stacked when I joined, favoring the other side. There were 4 snipers on my team, all bottom of the list, and all not team playing. They were pretty much eating rockets as soon as they came out of spawn. I asked them to switch to something more useful, they didnt listen so I moved them to the other team.

By the way, I think I know who you are, or at least the clan you were in. The three of you were originally on one team, but autobalance switched you, and the two of you ended up on my team. For 20 minutes, you ran around as a scout swing the baseball bat not doing a single thing. When the enemy got on the control point, you actual jumped OFF the Control Point. So yes, I switched you. You two tried to intentionally sabotage my team by taking up 2 slots and being completely useless, and you still lost. I switched you three back onto the same team and you lost again, you mad?

Mad? Lol, ok. If my memory serves me right you switched a couple of us and we owned your team, multiple times. Then the next thing you know you're on our team. And when another player called you on it you said "That team sucks".

Then after all that, and when the teams were re-shuffled you won a couple of rounds, yay for you.

But in all seriousness what you were doing was real lame. And your story about trying to even things up is BS. There were so many guys all over you about it. I'm actually surprised you didn't start kicking them. Usually douche bags like yourself take the next step of admin abuse and kick people.

But hey whatever it's no skin off my back, you're the one that abuses his admin powers and will likely get more complaints. I was just in your server because I noticed a friend in there. There are plenty of other servers to play on.

Actually donators are not meant to switch other peoples teams. It's just a limitation of the plugin that I had fixed before... but now its back and allowing to switch anyones team.

I will try to dig out the fix I had .

That and the Admin Plugin has it's own Autobalance feature... which is off because Valve has it's own (shitty) function. So I will turn of Valve's and let the plugin Handle it.

Pilski, a gate exploiter who was killing medics before the gate opened, and GS Loe, GS Greenfist, and GS Hero Support, who where intentionally playing scouts and not shooting to make one team lose, 80% of that list is gone.

Valve does not care. It's been here since the beta, in fact I even emailed them myself. It's very low priority/working as intended for the time being. It's not up to me to police something that Valve doesn't care much about. Infact... the more people do it the better, maybe then it will actually be fixed. (Sometimes before TF3)

What's better than annoyed players flooding the Steam Forums about an "exploit" that has already been posted many many many times before? Not much.. Maybe they will get bored of hearing about it and fix it one day.

In the meantime... Don't stand too close if you are afraid of dying.

Truth be told... It would be the easiest if Valve disabled damage forces during Setup... but for some reason they have different ideas... or lack thereof.

It was also listed in a stickied bugs thread that Valve definitely read.

This "feature" or "exploit" has been here since the start... and it looks like its staying for now at least.

Now as I said...

The more people bitch at Valve the more likely that it will be fixed sooner. I don't see why I should punish people for using an "exploit" that Valve has known about for months. And if I do I will just be delaying any fix from Valve because less bitching = higher chance of it getting swept under the rug.

Teleport exploits where people get stuck = bad you can't get out (valve fixes whit in an update or two)

Level exploits where a sentry is build under/above the level and you can't destroy it = bad (Valve fixes whit in an update or two)

Shooting pipes/burning people through holes in the gate = get the fuck out of the way next time (Valve hasn't fixed this in 8+ months)
