Stump 0 #1 Posted August 14, 2008 I was banned and told to come to this website by the admin. I am not trying to play innocent, I confess I can look through the wall sometimes. This only happen in some servers though including the LotusClan ones. I have been exploiting this as I thought it was a bug, I didn't know it was a hack. Could someone clarify with me please whether this is why I got banned. Note: I am sharing my account with my brother, I don't know if he got this hack himself without telling me. Xcalibur 5 #4 Posted August 14, 2008 Not sure, I wouldn't be able to do that without the name of the hack. Ask your brother
Stump 0 #5 Posted August 14, 2008 Not sure, I wouldn't be able to do that without the name of the hack. Ask your brother He said it is in TF2 files. Like the program is inside TF2 itself. He is not sure how to remove it. So what do I do? Anyway thanks for replying to me even when I hacked in your server.

Stump 0 #7 Posted August 14, 2008 Sorry, it wasn't a program. He said it change the look of the characters so that they can't be seen through walls. Is that a wallhack, I really need help please sympathize. Btw I got into a fight with my brother over this and it's really awkward to talk to him now. shpadoinkle 2 #9 Posted August 14, 2008 If it were me, here's what I would try: Close Steam Rename your "C:\Steam\SteamApps\yourname\team fortress 2" folder to "team fortress 2 old" Start Steam and have it update --- it'll take a while Maybe even right-click TF2 within Steam and go to Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache Take luck! Btw I got into a fight with my brother over this and it's really awkward to talk to him now. If your brother needs hacks to play a game, it sounds like he needs Jesus -- he'll repair the damage. And I verified my integrity game cache, is everything settled if I verified my game cache?
shpadoinkle 2 #11 Posted August 14, 2008 The purpose of renaming it is so that if everything gets majorly FUBAR, then you can rename it back to "Team Fortress 2". (Steam) As for the game cache verification, . . . "If you have problems with missing models, video artifacts (purple and black checkerboards) or unexpected crashes during single-player games and missions, please follow the steps below to use Steam's Verify integrity of game cache... feature to identify and replace corrupted Steam cache files." -- If your wall material is transparent, this should hopefully fix that.
