Today's Economy

What do you all think about it? I know what I think, and what I am doing in response, but what about you all? And just cuz you may not be in the U.S. don't think you can't comment on your our oour economy.

Pretty much it sucks. It does directly effect me yet since i dont have any investments but I imagine prices are about to get meaner. Its definitely a global issue, several European countries have already begun buyout plans or nationalizing banks. Bad time for all, but in all likelyhood its not gonna be another 1920s stock market crash and in a couple months the economy will pick up again.

Eh, its bad not not nearly as bad as people think. I'd give it a year before its completely healed. Globalization of the economy has that effect.

It doesn't affect me at all, plus it was bound to happen. So it's all good. Maybe this will force some changes and if not... well then that will be really funny as history loves to repeat itself.

i think the whole system's screwed up and needs to be seriously revamped. but that's just my fringe libertarian argument- if you wanna hear more- steam chat me. i'm just not interested in arguing it over the forums with a bunch of people who know nothing about economics.

I think were in for some big surprises ahead... Think of it like a computer. If it don't run right it needs to be brought down and re-vamped. If you are old enough to have grandparents that went thru the 1920's then you can understand what is happening. It may be possible to reconcile what is going on yet, but I tell ya I think it will need to get much worse yet. And if you think it isn't bad, you should be in my neck of the woods talking to the people I talk to on regular basis. Alot of them have gone out of business, and alot more are going in debt extremely fast. houses are empty and for sale signs are everywhere. Alot of company's that have been around and always hiring down here for the last 15yrs are no longer hiring, they're cutting back.

Anyways I just wanted the opinions of you all, not really to give out mine

All the people working at mcdonalds mad at the economy. Quit blaming the economy, get a better job? Quit being the victim, grow some balls, and take your future into your hands? No universal health care? Boo fucking hoo. Eat right, exercise, and save some money.

It doesn't affect me at all, plus it was bound to happen. So it's all good. Maybe this will force some changes and if not... well then that will be really funny as history loves to repeat itself.

Thats because:

1. you live with your parents.

2. you are getting a bazillion dollars from monthly donations.
