shadowcwalX 0 #1 Posted July 17, 2006 well, got a billion school work to do and lost the taste for this game so i uninstalled it now. dunno why i chose to play this game again. im a heavy gamer, playing all those popular games: sc wc3 cs d2 etc and i've quit for 1-2 years to pump up school stuff. then i decided to play games again since its summer vacation and decided to try out br again. a lil reflection that i just want to spit out... played br about 4-5 years ago (2001-2002, dont really remember cuz it was so long ago) for about half a year and didnt play it since. back then 4-5 years ago nearly everyone didnt have a good strat. people were trying out new stuff, new strats new tactics, varieties of units. there werent rushes, not too much bg usage, not many using dc, not many mass sniping, no mugging, not many archer + geisha etc. back then, the best strat was massing serpent cannons without bg (seriously! it worked almost every time!) unclean one + healer worked almost every time too without bg. now i play br again, about 4 years later, and by gosh, this games changed! rushes, sniping, dc, mug dc, etc, all that stuff. formulaic strats, almost the same strats and tactics used everytime. unlike before, mass serpent cannoneers w/o bg get obliterated in no time. just thought that this change was very interesting. the popularity of maps changed too. before, twisted fate was the most popular. now its valley. suits rushes better hehe. was going to quit like next week for school, but i guess i got tired of the formulaic strats n rushes n hard-to-join games n drops n bad connections which happen like every game so im quitting now. (i never get why connections in br sux so much unlike blizzard games like sc n wc3...) wont be seeing me on anymore in the br lobby. jus want to say good bye to all those ive played br with (esp fresco n baxter), its been good times. [LOT]rundown 3 #5 Posted July 20, 2006 WC 3 does have a very good connection and server but for me my BR connection works better than my WC 3 connection. Every time I play WC 3 I get disconnected in the middle of games for no reason at all. It's not the host either. This problem of disconnecting constantly has made it unable for me to play the game at all so, my BR has a better connection than my WC 3. This used to not happen at all.
