Clan Invasion Harassing Regulars.

Hey guys. Your US 24/7 Goldrush #2 server (67.212.160.116:27015) got invaded tonight (10:00 PM EST) by members of "TEAM WIN" and "TECHNO". They were stacking teams and refusing to shake it up. Further, anyone who asked (even politely) if they would break it up got kick-voted out. They were winning every match (quickly) and then spamming random junk from some 80s movie.

I'm hoping you'll do something about these guys. They're ruining the fun for everyone who's just trying to have fun and more or less running your server.

Nah, I am a sportsman and prefer the challenge of a fair fight. I like feeling like an important part of the battle, not a tag-along to some clan circle jerk.

Those guys are regulars in the server. Sorry if I seem blunt, but really... NOTHING will come of it. You're just one of the vast numbers of people that go through the Lotus servers.

Yes, I have played with them. Yes, they are assholes. The only thing you can do is ride it out, and hope they get an autoban for spamming votekicks.

The winning part seems fine though, someone has to lose... it's part of the game.

well here is a demo pack from me playing tonight on the Goldrush #2 server.

It's 11 demos long because I kept getting votekicked by the same group of people in [TECHNO] and [Team Win]. The first demo is the longest because I joined before the main protagonist Bear Breath (Father) joined the server. So the first part of the demo is just me playing (feel free to skip the 1st demo it's boring), the other demos are shorter because I rejoined the server and was kicked usually within 5 minutes. One time I was even votekicked before I loaded the server .

The 2 main people spamming to vote kick/ban me are:

Bear Breath [TECHNO] ID = STEAM_0:1:243129

Johnny Sodapop [Team Win] ID = STEAM_0:1:4610172

This is not the first time this has happened either. I have other demos from previous nights that demonstrate the same type of behavior. Most of those times the votes were unsuccessful and were only a nuisance from the spam. But tonight was extra special since I wasn't even able to play.

Not all of the people associated with [TECHNO] and [Team Win] agree with what's going on. I don't want this to turn into a me vs all of them flame thread. The 2 people listed are the main problems. I don't know what I did to piss them off. Bear Breath has already tried to ban me here, but since that didn't work vote spamming me is all he has left I guess. To avoid this I could just not play on the #2 server but that's where most of the "regulars" play and they are the better Goldrush players. Yes they frequently stack teams but that's what makes it fun and I enjoy fighting against all of them. Why can't they just kill me over and over again and be happy (it's what I do!)?

I started on Lotus servers long ago on the Gaberush 2 server, got tired of it and moved to stock. Once a week or so i'll join my friend Karskin on Gaberush to kill the noobs and that server has to have the most immature jackasses out of all the servers ive been on. All they do is talk about smoking weed or drinkign beer (are they all 15 or something) and the regulars constatly harrass others w/o provocation. Its pretty sad actually.

On a side note i think Pahtom and I are goign to make a regular stop on the Gaberush server as krits/demo to pwn the noobs that are the gaberush regulars.

I'll add my voice to the pile of "ban the asshats". Every time I've played on that server it's been an asshat fest with father/bear breath leading the way. This guy actually has said to me in chat...."I AM the goldrush server kid!".......Total D-bag. Techno and team win remind mne so much of the glazed clan it isn't funny. Ofcourse glazed self destructed like the bunch of hemroids they were. SO I expect these two asshat clubs to do the same.

On a side note....If what you said about weed smoking and beer drinking was true rydawg...Half of the regular scum from stock maps would have to be regulars on goldrush as well. For some strange reason it's cool to be a 12 yr old pot smoking waste case in video games anymore.

Whats more, Mana, having just played with two of the team win children on the stock maps server. Watched them spam two kick votes and a ban vote in the space of maybe 10 mins. Spam the shit out of voice chat, sound like compleat and total retarded 10 yr olds, ect, ect.....They aren't just a small nuisance, they are rage'rs.....Why would you allow a small group of people to deliberatly and regularly rage average players on your servers? I don't get it, You pay good money to have this many servers yet you allow a small group of social delinquents to ruin and abuse your server and privileges? AND you have more than proof of them doing it? I don't get it.

The proof was posted last night. Believe it or not, Mana doesn't have time to play on every server and keep every person in line, or instantly kick/ban every person you have a problem with.

No, I don't mind losing. I usually lose, because I'm not that great. I enjoy the game and don't need to win. I don't enjoy stacked teams. Can a pug beat a clan? Sure. But it's not very likely to happen. Losing to a bunch of people who are clearly only playing to incite rage (spamming when they win, kick-voting anyone who talks out of line, etc) isn't TF2 and isn't fun.

I thought my original post was pretty explicit in the fact that these guys weren't just being mean to wittle old me, but that they were generally being a nuisance.

Does the original poster have some demos as well?

I could use those demos to deliberate with other Lotus clan members and if needed issue a clan wide ban. Then marvel at the influx of new threads.
